With over 24 years of experience as a senior executive in cybersecurity., Dani Cabezas specializes in the design, development and leadership of security teams for large corporations and critical infrastructure.

Throughout his career he has provided strategic advisory and consulting services in highly sensitive industries such as the financial, aerospace, industrial, energy, financial, aerospace, industrial, energy and national intelligence agencies.

Among his most notable projects is the design of the architecture and operating model for the world's first dedicated SOC in a nuclear power plant, implemented at the Barakah plant (Barakah NPP). He has also served as CISOleading global cybersecurity strategies and operating models for international organisations.

Before joining Apeiroo, Dani worked at Alvarez & Marsal (Dubai) as part of the Cyber Risk team. Previously, he was a partner at IBM, where he led the cybersecurity practice. OT/IoT for the EMEA region. In addition, he has held key positions in consulting firms in the Middle East, Oceania and Europe, driving the growth of their cybersecurity areas.

Dani studied Mathematics at the University of Barcelona and holds leading industry certifications, including CISSP, CISA, CEH, ISO 27001 and ISMS Lead Auditor.

He is also a researcher and international speaker, participating in forums and media such as the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), ComputerWorld, OWASP and RuxCON.
